The Pocket story.
The Pocket story.
Once upon a not-very-long time ago, childhood friends and busy Londoners Max and Louis had a bit of a rant.
Why? Well, every time they needed to store some stuff, they had to trek out to some industrial complex – far, miserable and desolate – only to deal with tons of paperwork and frustrating booking systems. This sucks.
By then, Max had already successfully launched his start up Spokesafe (secure parking for bikes). Also, Louis’ background in property development made him acutely aware of the amount of unused space in city centres. What a waste.
And there it was: they decided to take the good stuff from Max’s booking platform, Louis’ knowledge of urban spaces, and create a self-storage company that doesn’t suck. They called it Pocket.

…to fix a broken system.
You know when self-storage companies ask you to fill out ten forms, it takes actual days to sign up and then they confuse you with pricing that changes every three seconds? Yeah. We fixed that.
And we’re fixing all that waste of space in our city centres while we’re at it. (This is better for the environment. And people.)

… to make it easy, like magic.
Okay, we admit we can't do actual Mary Poppins magic. But, since finding and booking an easy and affordable self-storage space where you genuinely need it has been so difficult - until Pocket came along, it'll feel a bit like magic :)

… to be there when you need us.
When something is wrong and you need help right now, sometimes only a human will do. We decided to invest properly in human support as well as AI chatbots, because we built this company for real people like you, and anything less just won't do.

We're not fans of filling in 10 forms over several days just to store your stuff. Or confusing prices which change every three seconds. So, we're fixing it.

Okay, we'll admit we can't do actual magic. Yet. But we've made finding and booking easy and affordable self-storage so easy, it'll feel like it.
